Accuracy and updates

Corrections Policy

How readers, manufacturers, and sources can report an error to FridgeRoute and how factual corrections, minor edits, and listing changes are evaluated.

Last updated

What can be reported

Readers may report incorrect specifications, model confusion, unsupported claims, broken source links, calculation errors, misleading wording, accessibility problems, or other factual issues on the site.

How to report an error

Email [email protected] or use the Contact page. Please identify the affected page and the exact statement or element in question.

What information is helpful

  • The page URL
  • The exact passage, table cell, link, or visual issue
  • The correction being proposed
  • An official manual, manufacturer document, or other reliable source when available
  • A screenshot when the problem depends on layout or device size

How corrections are evaluated

A request is checked against the relevant source material and the context of the page. Not every requested change will be accepted, and no fixed response time is promised. When sources disagree or evidence remains incomplete, the uncertainty should be stated rather than replaced with a guess.

Material corrections

A material factual correction changes information that could affect the reader’s understanding, comparison, safety planning, or purchase decision. When appropriate, the page should identify a material correction clearly.

Minor edits

Spelling, grammar, formatting, link labels, and small clarity improvements that do not change the meaning may be updated without a separate correction note.

Product-listing changes

Retailer availability, shipping, pricing, bundle contents, and product variants can change after publication. A listing change is not automatically an error in the original article, but links or wording may be updated when the current destination no longer matches the referenced model.
